I hear the IBM commitment is to be announced prior to the end of the year.

Fiberman,

I believe the number stated is the actual number of shares just bought from an MM or sold to an MM. I can verify this because, often, I have seen my own trades (typically 1,000 or 2,000) reported on the TrackOnline transaction log system seconds after I have made the trade. These show exactly as I traded them. That is, when I buy or sell 1,000 shares of a certain stock, I've seen just that number show up on the system.

Also, there are many trades of 100 shares, etc. These are not 50 share trades doubled. They are 100 share trades.

Hope this helps.
