Dude, parts of Europe is already in the double-dip.

Yeah, so? They have been in recession for most of the of the past 4 years. There is an impact but its not as significant as you seem to think.

We're still racking up trillion dollar deficits. The deficit itself represents 8% of the US GDP. Yet the GDP is only growing at an annualized rate of 1.5%.

Yeah, as we recover the deficits will decline......esp when the Bush tax cuts expire at the end of this year.

Think about that for a second. 8% of the GDP is artificial money coming from a printing press. That can't last forever.

Road Walker called that the "credit card economy." Of course, that was when deficits were "only" $400 billion ... and under the control of the Republicans. Of course, he's now oddly silent now that the deficit is 3x as much ... and under the control of the Democrats.

Because Rs screwed the pooch. We all are paying a significant price for Republican stupidity and incompetence.
