It's DEFINITELY our good friend the X man. I went and compared their profiles. Both hang on the same threads -ASND, PAIR and PETM. Both use ICON as their occupation/Title. Kirk appeared on the scene Oct 16th 1997. X208 was temorarily booted on Oct 8th. He reappeared for his swan song and got the final boot on Oct 17th. (looks like he got himself a new ISP in the interim and had one last fling as X208 on the 17th.) I also read some of "Kirk's" posts. Kirk mentions X208 many times and only has good things to say about him. (he's probably the only person on SI to do so.<G>) Same use of X-clamation points, multiple ???, !!!!, ,,, etc. Lotsa CAPS too. (although I REALIZE I have NO room to TALK<G>) It appears he's been found out on the PETM and PAIR threads. I didn't find anyone on the ASND thread that had called him out yet. Guess I'll mosey over for some fun.
