Ticker: I don't think it is too early at all for tax-loss selling. Particularly if one wants to buy back later prior to production start up. Remember if you take a tax loss, you have to be out for 30 days before buying back in order to meet the wash sale rules.

Having said that, I have no idea what the recent weakness is attributable to. I don't mind, particularly, as long as the fundamentals are intact. I haven't filled out my position yet.

Ticker: My guess is the usual end of year "stuff." Possibly tax loss. If that's it, and those folks want to buy back in after the 30 day wash period, I'd expect the volume to taper off over the next week with the price stabilizing right around where it is now since I'd expect those folks to want to re-establish themselves as soon as possible in January. This kind of game I'd play, too, if I had wee losses I'd like to take advantage of. Of course, I'd only make that gamble if I don't expect VLNC to make any major announcements in the next 30 days. That's not that bad a gamble since I personally don't expect any announcements of significance between now and the end of year. It's not a strategy I choose to employ with VLNC, however, as my loaded cost put's me up just a tad, not down.
Also, I got surprised again today, I had a buy order in for $6.5(with VLNC I am definitely putting my speculative cash where my mouth is these days), and TA! DA!! it got executed. I think I've just about.....belch...eaten all the VLNC turkey I care for at the moment. I'm just hoping I'm not about to suffer a case of indigestion......heh! ;-)

Regards!

John~
