The result of loss of Virtuous Victorian Values in formerly Great Britain: <But Mr Li’s decision to spend billions buying businesses such as water, electricity and mobile communications that offer a stable return in these uncertain times promises to be an interesting postscript to Britain’s acquisition of Hong Kong in the 19th century. >

India after independence made the mistake of keeping socialism, Hong Kong [with no democracy to enable people to vote to take opm] had the sense [so far] to keep capitalism, common law and all that good stuff.

Hooray for Mr Li delivering CDMA mobile Cyberspace to UK. Last year I had the pleasure of buying his service in London. What a wonderful world.

What's surprising is how few countries see the success of Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, USA, and others which do well for greater or less times but fail to see why they become so great.
