I use all the discount sites, and Groupon is far and away the best. Whether it's their getaways, their goods, their NOW deals, or their daily deals, I've tried them all, and they are so much better than anyone else's deals. Yelp just doesn't have the variety, or the quality of discounts (and no goods, no getaways, it's poorly organized, etc). Google (you'd think they could do better) doesn't offer much that interests me, and Living Social seems to be getting worse, not better. I thought they might be a good competitor, but they aren't. Gilt City bored me so much I eventually terminated my membership, and Sweet Jack, and some of the smaller sites just don't have what it takes, imo. Groupon really is the best in this market space, and I suspect that counts for something. I go there every day, right after I read the news- so I kind of have a notion of how many deals sell out (a lot, especially with the Groupon Goods- but the popular escapes sell out too.) That's why I bought them. Same reason I bought Amzn stock- because I used Amzn so much, and I figured if they were getting my money, they were getting other people's as well.
