On the face of it your argument is ridiculous. You trust the IRS to do what they do but you don't trust the EPA to do what they do? Romneys taxes are likely more complicated that the science on GW - and yet the government scientist working on GW are all wrong but the IRS is right? Absolutely bizarre and the longer this issue drags on the more bizarre the rationalizations used to support it. .........Just release the taxes and the issue goes away. Of course, your statement is entirely facile. what you don't seem to understand is that on this particular topic, the IRS's charter is aligned with the voting public. I trust the IRS to be greedy bastards and try to squeeze every penny out of every taxpayer. Especially if it is a rich republican running against a democrat. I trust the EPA to be a bunch of rabid environmentalists who try to stifle business at every turn. The problem is that we have given them too much power. They need to be offset by a congress and president who understand that there needs to be a balance between environmental concerns and business and economic necessities. But when you have an agency defining CO2 as a pollutant, you know that there is a problem within that agency. If you don't understand this simple point, there really isn't much to talk about. And I agree, if Obama would just release all of his historical documents and fast n furious documents, the issues would just go away.
