Brian,
I guess one thing you've learned about investing, it is
a lot like playing poker. It is a good strategy to
always keep some cash aside as "mad money". Nothing
better than having a cash position in reserve for
"raising" the bet and to have others call your unbeatable
hand! If you ever studied poker at all, the best strategy
is to make small to medium bets in an uncertain/developing
hand that looks good, and to raise the bet when you have
determined that you are holding all the Aces. However,
if it is a wild card game, it is better to maintain a
lowered exposure longer in the hand until your hand is
unbeatable. Sounds easy doesn't it? The benefits are, that
the returns are good, you minimize downside risk, and at
some point you are in a position to win it all and hold a
can't lose hand.

regards,
BB
