Methinks thou doth protest too much We would be much further to the left, if Obama could be a Raygun He cannot And faced with the political realities of our triple branch system of government, a contrivance well understood by, say a constitutional scholar, the man has fared remarkably well considering the obstacles the electorate has complicated his journey with It is sufficient for me to give him credit for keeping us out of a full blown depression and a somewhat remarkable array of policy achievements that have eluded well meaning presidents since FDR Juxtapose him with the Gordon Gecko/John Galt clones the center is offering and the POTUS race shouldn't even merit debate
