If, by the way, my near term sell signal is actually nullified on the close or sooner and I cover my short, then I will not go long this late in the up cycle, my model tells me time is fast running out for this rally... so, I'll just stay flat until the next sell signal, provided I do cover today...

I should also mention, that the period between August 19th and late October is the most bearish time of the year for these markets, so buying in this time frame when this market is already over bought is a significantly high risk trade which is not worth the angst...

But, everything being said, I don't think I'll be disappointed with my short position provided the near term sell signal remains intact on today's close...
