I have no sympathy for the "my colleagues across the isle" approach. Over seven decades of this approach has given us the disaster we now live in. The Left has gone even more Left, until they are now total collectivists. They have won by noodling the Right along with the "why can't we all be friends" approach. Now we have a total Communist, Obama, in charge. From now on, our only hope is "war to the knife."

We need to find a way to talk to the opposition. If we can't find such a way, we need to invent one. I don't think it's a problem with our side of the aisle. It seems lefties are the ones who react to attempts to have a rational discussion with nonsequiturs, straw man arguments and outright vitriol. There won't be a rational discussion until they get their behavior under control.

The answer is that once in power, conservatives need to walk the talk and actually do what they say they want to do prior to getting elected. Actually pass Term Limits, A Balanced Budget Amendment, TORT reform, open up the nations resources for energy exploration and cut spending! Stop being afraid of the media and t the way Scott Walker is acting. If they did, it wouldn't matter what the fringe looney left thought because 70% of the American people would support them.
