** OT ** Trufflette, What?? You're using technical terms like "RAM"
and "capacity." I thought you left all that mumbo-jumbo to the
techno-wonks...

Well Trufflette (luv that name), I'm certain that the box was the best buy for the money. I wanted bottom line MMX-- I can upgrade later, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I plan to use the Jaz as an endless HD. You're right about the RAM-- I'm giving myself two 32 MB SIMMS for Christmas, for a total of 96MBs-- I think that'll hold me for awhile. Already the speed loading on the web is remarkable-- "virtually" instantaneous.

Any story on the origin of your moniker?

Ray

Sorry Trufflette, just realized I left out the fact that the HP7420 box was only $900. This info was supposed to contrast with the $2300 HP7090 of two years ago.

BTW, still think the momentum players are waiting at 35,

Ray
