Olympic games is small thing. Rio's carnival alone drew 4.9 million people in 2011, with 400,000 being foreigners.

Organized by the slum negroes. Financed by beer companies and some shady money -you know what I mean- you never heard about carnival fumbling.

We expect 300,000 tourists for the Rock in Rio festival alone.

World Cup? It will bring only 714.000 tourists spread all over the country.

If I'd be nationalist, like C2 says, I'd say: "This is Brazil. This is not England or Greece."

What is going on is a lot of people trying to sell advice to the Brazilians and telling them how difficult it is going o be to organize it.

But keep the pressure. Our government need pressure to improve facilities and infrastructure.
