Cohen would give a stock tip the first night of class and tell everyone to buy 100 shares. He stated he wouldn't guarantee it but 100 shares if bought should be higher at the end of the term. It should be higher by more than the amount of the classes tuition. Sure enough I bought the unheard of over the counter stock and earned more than the tuition I paid. Being the course was given by the new york institute of finance the new york stock exchange also refunded me the tuition too. Cohen was never without a cigar in his mouth. Shortly after he sold his company Chart Craft inc and retired.
