The ads here are focused around the evening news hours, 60 Minutes, lots during the Olympics, CNBC, etc. They are definitely targeting the older demographic that is likely to vote and possibly persuadable to the Romney message. Since VA is on the short list of battleground states I don't expect the barrage to let up. Like you, I DVR and Netflix a lot, then just use the Mute button a lot when watching live news and business coverage.
