Thanks for explaining the short incentive etc. You seem to be very knowledgable in this area. Is there any way we can find out the names of the person or organizations who shorted this stock ? Like when we buy 5% of the company, we have to report to the authority, says we are having a special inteerst in this company. Would the same be applied toward shorts ? I mean, 4.5 million out of 28 million have been shorted and the daily short query is still in the 30s to 50s, would somebody have to report if he or she shorted for more than 28m x 5% = 1.4 million ?

I guess we all would be ok if no body shorted more than 1.4 million. That would mean the short crowd is just like the long crowd, not organized, innocent, but money hungry But we may be in a even deeper doodoo if there is. You know where I come from.

<OFF TOPIC> Ben, when you respond to a note in the thread, do not hit the ENTER key untl you reach the end of a paragraph. Let your text wrap by itself.

That way
it won't
look
all broken up (like this sentence which I purposely
hit the ENTER key).

I enjoy the content of your posts, and therefore want to make them easier to read as well.
