"Guys, why all these complicated features? There's only so much you can do with a spreadsheet."

Me, too. I mean, does anyone really use all that stuff? Or even a small fraction of it? If a spreadsheet gets that damned complicated I'll just have to drag out the pencil and paper and do it by hand !!

It's all about the quality of the workproduct and the efficiency with which it can be created, updated, integrated and communicated. Elegantly designed software based on an truly object-oriented component model can and will translate into easy-to-use applications which excel in all of those criteria.

Having said that, the goal is to create scalable applications which have all the potential of today's office-packs. The obvious difference is that you will automatically and dynamically scale up as you utilize more sophisticated features. Think of it as beans-on-demand over a dynamic bean-bus.
