Andre, I can not offer an actual $ figure, but by the time you consider the doctor and technician's time to get the specimen, transporation and prep of specimens, the actual physical materials used (and disposed of), report generartion and transmiting; an invasive procedures on a client (that can sometimes get infected and add more complexity to the calculation, not to mention reduced comfort (cutting) vs a probe) ... it is easy to see how costs add up very quickly. - M
