Brian.

I am running K6 233 since the end of August on Asus TX97-E MB, with lately the Asus cooling fan. K6 is solid like an rock. The temperature indicator reads 54 C, which is comparable to the early version of K6. For the Asus MB I have 64 MB of 60n EDO 72 pins memory, Matrox Millenium II Graphic Card. Never got any problems, never lock up. The Asus is more expensive than many of the others MB, but as I said, i need reliable parts in order to run uninterupted computer work. For future upgrade for K6 266, I am keeping the Tekram MB, so far with P 166.

You are not buying MB every day, so get something very reliable.

Greetings

Andrew
