From the "Channel Partners" section of the Ancor web site:

xsnet.com

Good presentation and they look like they can set up FC systems.

Also a good presentation from Intelligent Solutions:

Thomas: You could be right with that "rung-out" statement. I also tend to agree with you regarding where it may go should it break $5. If ANCR truly doesn't announce anything of significance until the 2nd half of '98 then any money now spent here would be dead money unless your speculating on a 2nd half upward pop and want to start positioning yourself now. However, even if you think there'll be a pop(and I certainly think that's probable IF contracts of some significance are announced), it's still advisable to wait and watch.....there still isn't any indication that a bottom's been reached. However, I do expect we'll see it in the next few weeks.
Regards!

John~

Tom,
With all due respect, I think many are expecting good news of significance in the 1st half of '98 for the beginning of ramp ups in many storage companies in the second half. IF storage ramp up of significance begin in second half 98, like Ken says, then any contracts/partnerships will most likely come in the first half of the year. In my opinion, this stock will move up on anything significant happening (ie.oem, big contract like Hucom last year, mo' money, a parntership, brocade talk of ipo). I have to agree about insider buys...they will be good for us longs to see, but I can't see anyone buying a huge position (I look for more like a Cal-like purchase) that will cause people to go nuts about ancor and bring it back over 10.

A few years ago, Ancor was priced right around here and they were making squat (still are :-) to what they will make next year and the possibility of years to follow in my opinion. No one had heard of fibre channel, and players like Hwp, Sequent, Data General, Sunw, Eds, Dec, Compaq, Brocade didn't even have squat for products back then. The SAN was a fantasy. Are things like management, products, companies, industry a GREAT deal different today? Is Ancor a better buy here at 6 now then it was a few years ago around the same price? lol. But, that is me. You've got to be sick to listen to what other people say on boards sometimes and make YOUR OWN decisions.

of course,
ALL IMHO

p.s. for those of you who don't think anything significant will happen until second half 98, I say get the heck out. You may be totally right. I have no idea why one would be in this stock if they thought that.
