The sad thing is, I think Touré really thinks like this:

Obama is the First Black President. So any attack that hurts him, hurts the First Black President, which means it is racist in effect, which means it is almost surely racist in intent too. All you have to do now is find the "racial coding" or the "dogwhistle".


But everybody has seen way too much of Obama in action. No longer is he the semi-divine hero of 2008. I think that ole race card is just about wore out by now.
