However, don't you think if Romney had violated the law the IRS would have been all over him? You may not believe this but returns reporting millions in income are actually looked at by IRS personnel. And returns reporting millions in income offset by tax shelters are looked at even harder.


Then Romney has nothing to fear. Why isn't he releasing several years of tax returns like every other president has done during the past 30 years?.

No, it isn't. Romney started this by lying to MA in 2002; by lying about his work arrangement with Bain; by only releasing a partial return for one year. Reid is simply taking advantage of Romney's resistance to being transparent.
