Hi Russell,

You may be right and there is just constant sector corrections and rotations...there is certainly evidence for that. The problem that i have is the underlying economic fundamnetals that I believe I see around the globe. I was not in the markets in the 60's, what was the base economics (US and globally) that were parts of the "wall of worry"...If you remember the similarities or lack thereof...I would be very interested.

Thanks

Steve

rrman, OFF TOPIC:

remember our discussion about foreign policy, the iraqi kurds, and the u.s. media? this from the december harper's magazine (page 17):

Number of Turkish troops that crossed the Iraqi border last May to attack Kurds: 25,000
Number of the ten largest U.S. newspapers that gave the story front-page coverage: 0

ps- funny that you mention ascend/descend. there was a time when i used ascend puts as my own personal atm machine. :-) it's the only stock i ever felt comfortable trading puts on -- but those times are long gone, and now asnd's valuation is nothing if not reasonable.
