African Americans always vote over 90% Democratic. Now why is that do you suppose? They're pretty much like the rest of us, maybe more so. They've had no exposure to history and economic analysis, instead rely on personal experience and inherited anecdotal evidence from family and friends. Until very recently too much of black opportunity here came from government and that constricts their ability to understand the nature of prosperity. They join with others deluded and/or uninformed and vote for those who'll screw them and their offspring the worst.

What does that question have to do with liberals and compassion? The answer is they probably take their lead from relatives, friends, ministers, celebrities, and the media. Lots of people do the same .... over time it will change and it is.
