Roy Black charged William Kennedy Smith 250k for his rape trial. Hsu needs this level of representation to have any hope for acquittal (Hey, if OJ can get off....). I don't know his financial position, but I'm sure the criminal proceedings are putting a crimp in his lifestyle. I'll bet he can get it back from the shareholders if he's acquitted though. Hey, cost of doing business, "I am not guilty" after all. BTW, I believe the donation was shareholder money. Why give away your own funds when you can donate someone else's and have the benefits from that action inure to you? Barb!
