You can replace machines with people when you farm on a small scale. hantzfarmsdetroit.com Now, if you want to go all utopian socialism and such, we subsidize multitudes of people for purposes of entertainment, like local theaters and orchestras, and pay the staff with food vouchers which they use to buy food from members in the audience, and... Maybe place one border guard every 10 feet along the entire Mexican border. Face it... we have too many people for too few jobs, and, apparently, too few trained people for the existing jobs. Corporations would rather import somebody with a green card than do any on-the-job training, or, as Ben Franklin's first boss called it, "your apprenticeship". What do we do? Panic. When do we do it? Now. I'm already 5 years ahead of you.
