MRVL is another situation where the numbers look great. Fantastic balance sheet...but there are no catalysts.

If your investment strategy does not require catalysts, this is a buy.

Did I miss a catalyst? For me, I don't see a reason to buy this stock.

I don't see any reason to buy DELL either. Compared to IBM, it looks cheap. It's selling at a discount but there's not a catalyst in sight to turn this stock around.

I don't have a position in INTC but it looks more attractive to me than MRVL or DELL.

Einhorn sold DELL and so did I. the ongoing catalyst is lack of participation in the tablet market, ongoing market share losses and wasting cash on overpriced software companies for >20x EBITDA/EV. multiples while the stock trades at <5x EBITDA/EV. It's a catalyst for single digit stock prices, as far as I am concerned..

I do agree that Einhorn is good, but want to point out that the performance of his funds during the last 2 years was nothing to write home about. He was right on AET and CVH it seems....
