OFF TOPIC yeah, harper's is generally a good read. i'm surprised you don't get it up north. i (and many others too, i'm sure) first started reading it for the harper's index, a monthly page of social/political commentary presented as deadpan statistics such as the one i sent you. as for ascend: yeah, it's in the low 20s now. i rode it at various points between 60 and 40. i now have a tiny stake in peoplesoft (bought a few extra shares when i was covering my short)and am afraid it's going to suffer the same fate as ascend.
