To answer your last point first .... yes, it looks like McCaskill has received a gift from the bonehead remarks of Akin. If she could count on him for a couple of more blunders like that (and she might get them), Missourians may have to endure McCaskill for another term unless Akin sneaks in on Romney's coattails. Missourians deserve better choices than the two that they have in front of them. I'll bet their voter turnout in November will be at record lows. Sad ....

Instead of delineating the flawed solutions of this President, it's far less verbose to merely look at the results of his "corrective actions" after his first term. Only true partisans can rationalize that his economic remedies have resulted in a better economy after nearly four years of effort. Only true partisans can truly believe that spending at record levels can reduce the debt and stimulate the economy. If that were true, everyone considering bankruptcy should instead go on a spending binge to correct their financial shortfalls. Those underwater on their mortgages should buy another or a more expensive house.

The point that some appear to be ignoring is that Obama himself has admitted that he didn't comprehend the economy that he inherited. I admire his candor in that regard but it is not like him to be so frank. When one doesn't understand what is before them, it's not unreasonable to think that their solutions might be off the mark. Sadly, I hear him proposing more of the same. That tells me that he STILL doesn't appreciate the depths of the economic problems. These are HIS words not mine.

Before you cite my negligence in providing you my proposals to right an ailing economy, I would simply say this. If I had immediate turnaround solutions for the economy, I'd run for President. I don't have them. Therefore, I will not seek, nor will I accept the nomination for President of the United States from either party. I know my limitations. I only wish more of our elected officials recognized theirs.
