The USSR, China and a lot more tried state capitalism. The mantra was "We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us". The result was failure. < Here comes state capitalism... > It's surprising how few people can learn from history. They should count the "state capitalism" corpses too and wonder how their corpse will be formed when they get their wish for state capitalism. Owning shares in productive assets is not a cult.
