I don't watch CNN very often, but tuned in to Piers Morgan for the Todd Akin interview. Akin bailed and is now receiving a thrashing from Morgan. Wow.

This forcible rape thing is nuts! In wars between peoples over the millennia, rape was considered necessary to get the losers to submit to the victors - the babies that resulted had the blood of the victors and the losers would eventually be either slaves or accept becoming members of the victor's tribe. The Huns were really good at raping their vanquished and bringing them into their tribe - resulting in hordes of people that would keep coming back to whomp their enemies and grow their tribe. Even in WWII the Japanese raped the Chinese into submission. Forcible rape, whatever that is, often results in pregnancy.
