>>>I'm not much of a movie-goer, life provides enough entertainment plus I generally think they are a glorious waste of time<<<

You may be my long-lost identical twin brother. I am, however, somewhat enjoying streaming archives of "Upstairs Downstairs." And about once a year I watch Casablanca. "Mad Men" reruns can be interesting, though in some ways what we are seeing a projection of the unbridled avarice and egotism of all us diddle-de-squat wannabe nobodies. Somewhere I read that "Vertigo" has been anointed one of the best films of all time; so I watched it and found it insufferably improbable, despite the fact that I am incurably acrophobic myself. Right this minute I am in a small office I rent and the activities of the Hypnotherapist who moved in next door are more interesting than any film. I've never met such a pluperfect jerk in my entire life--not even here on SI.
