Stocks, VIX Trends seem Continuing-Canaccord

Many have been wondering, and fearing when the stock market's 2 1/2 month push higher might peter out--or worse. But Canaccord has looked back at history and fins there should be more room to run. Getting into "overbought territory might lead to a bad day or week, but we don't believe there should be a significant and sustainable drop over the coming months." It notes that during the past 45 years, when US stocks have had the scant intraday ranges like they've had of late, there's been roughly 8% gains the subsequent 3 months. Meanwhile, Canaccord sees the VIX, already at 5 year lows around 14, moving "to 10 at some point in this cycle, driven by its relationship with the spread between high-yield debt and Treasurys.
