He might have! I actually like Paul Ryan a lot. I can't say that I am ready to vote for Romney over writing in Ron Paul, but for Romney's first executive decision on the road to the White House, he couldn't have a made better decision.

As you know, my top priority right now on politics is voting for people who will do something about our deficits. Paul Ryan knows more about our deficits and how to solve them than anyone else, but Ron Paul. He's a fiscal conservative, which I unapologetic about being as well, and he also believes in increasing taxes as part of the overall solution. I believe it was Ryan that first suggested a business consumption tax to help close the tax revenue gap.

Anyway, I like him. He's young, energetic, and serious. I don't believe the Democrats have a real plan for closing the deficit, especially with Keynesians running their fiscal policy.

So regardless of who wins, I think the real issues are starting to be discussed in the public forum. It's about darned time.
