All a person has to do is look at the church the president attended for 20+ years -- Trinity United Church of Christ, where he was married, and where his children were baptized. Jeremiah Wright is a follower of Black Liberation Theology, a religion that sees America's successes and prosperity as having been achieved on the backs of minorities and the weak. It virtually ignores the hard work, vision, inventiveness, and leadership that caused this country to become the most moral and prosperous in the history of mankind, and focuses instead on nurturing a victim mentality. And, as would follow, a guilt mentality on the part of the country he leads. Obama, as a member of Wright's congregation, both absorbed and disseminated the idea that America should be ashamed of her prosperity. All one has to do is look at his policies -- from his energy policies, which demand America's adherence to 'green energy' programs (while the rest of the world answers to no one), harming our industries, our energy production and our job situation ... to his refusal to close our borders, and his granting of amnesty to non-citizens ... to his disastrous policies in the Middle East ... and everything in between. All of this president's policies have been aimed at reducing the personal liberties of the citizenry, burying business and industry under a mounatin of regulation, and distributing our wealth and our expertise globally. It doesn't really matter whether he is seeking to 'punish' our country because of the perceived 'injustices' we have caused over the past two centuries, or whether he simply wants to cause a perverted kind of 'parity' between us and the rest of the world. He exhibits an allegiance to a global mentality -- something that is beyond dangerous for an American president to embrace. Whatever his reasoning -- his church beliefs, his Marxist mentors, etc. -- his presidency has been detrimental to America. And purposefully so .
