An Obama campaign announcement on Tuesday said Biden will be attending events in Florida on Monday and Tuesday, including a stop in Tampa on the convention's opening day. President Barack Obama won Florida four years ago, but Republicans are hoping the week-long convention will help them recapture the key battleground. The campaign announcement didn't detail what other cities Biden will be appearing in. Campaigning in Minneapolis, Biden talked about his upcoming trip to Tampa with reporters. "Any of you going to Florida?" he asked the reporters. "I'm going to be the speaker at the convention." This was after Biden visited a high school football practice, which he also did during a trip last week. huffingtonpost.com
