The Repulicans have all denounced him. I doubt if it has much in the way of legs. They can pound on the "snake handler" approach, but they are just appealing to the already converted. If I were in Missouri I would be forced to vote for him if he stayed in the running.

If the Democrats don't get wee'weed up about this, they'll invent something else. What Akin does or doesn't do will have no bearing on the election. Conservatives are running scared. Yeah, the guy said something really stupid and tried to apologize in a clumsy way. Big deal, Biden and dozens of other Demolibs say stupid things every day. Romney and the other top candidates should just ignore the issue and talk about more important subjects. I would add a laugh or two toward the Obamatron press for bringing it up.
