I think you are waaaaay off base here and totally wrong. The right has nominated Romney and he has picked Ryan who are BOTH against abortion. Not funding, abortion. Who here is being honest? My gawde the tiny amount of money that it cost for abortions could be easily picked up by charities if this was the only issue - IT IS NOT. I voted for Romney in the primaries and I will vote for him in November. And it wasn't because of his views on abortion. Federal funding of abortions and forcing organizations who are anti-abortion to pay for abortions is indicative of both creeping entitlement programs and ignoring the religious rights of others. Well I'm against unnecessary wars - but I don't get a choice in that spending. You want to compare the dollars pissed away in an unnecessary wars with the cost of the money going to abortions? ........So you're not against abortions; you okay your tax dollar paying for the birth of the child of a crack addicted mother? You okay with paying for the cost of the child born to a crack addicted mother who is then born with birth defects? I am not ok with the federal government forcing me to pay for things that are clearly outside of the defined role of the federal government.
