Harry: Real Tick III is the software program which provides quotes, charts,news and sometimes order entry (if your hooked up through Watley for example). This is not a program such as Omega Trade Station or Quotes PLus. Real Tick III has some TA capabilities but its primary purpose is to show you real time quotes and news. When I say I screen my stocks, I mean that I eyeball the chart or the daily highs and lows to get a feel for the range the stock is trading in.For example: if you look at a stock like AMZN you will see that the daily range of the stock is very wide - this is what I mean by volatility.
