Jack: Well, I endured several godawful sitcoms last week waiting to see the IOM commercial, but no dice. I don't think it was on in the Dallas market. It's kind of frustrating. IOM doesn't seem to advertise much here in print media either. Every Saturday and Sunday, like clockwork, there's the large Syquest ad in the Dallas Morning Snooze and no IOM. You'd think they'd be all over this market - it's one of the biggest consumer markets in the U.S. and certainly a hotbed of computer geekdom.

Go figure.

re. rebate...store personnel said it was an Staples rebate. The coupon is to be mailed to Iomega Rebate, P.O. Box8011, Walled Lake, MI 48391-8011.

I'm not sure if the salesman really knew if it was an Staples only rebate. But still, $89 new.
