What a ridiculous position to take. Also very ignorant. There will be little revenue to raise once you go over the cliff. You are talking about total financial ruin and use "raising revenues" a worthwhile objective.

I support going off the cliff if that is what it takes to get agreement on raising revenues.

You have been a proponent on not raising taxes during a recession when Obama extended the current tax rates. How is our economy in a position to do so now? What has changed exactly for you to change your mind?

If we go over the cliff there will likely be no congress or president to make agreements. We will probably be in a civil war, which may end up being called the second revolutionary war, depending on who wins.

Please don't use the term raising revenue when you mean raising tax rates. You sound foolish, like someone saying they want less gravity when they really need to lose weight.
