Not too surprised - it's a very nice phone - best I've ever had.

I believe it's the first time since Verizon got the iPhone that it hasn't been their number one seller.

I hope Samsung enjoys this success, because it will be brief. Not saying Samsung's unit numbers will necessarily drop as soon as the iPhone 5 lands, but they won't have the number one seller.

I've seen and held the SIII. It still looks to me like an iPhone 3Gs, but bigger. No question that's a big screen. And for people who get screenis envy, it obviously has a lot of appeal.

I still prefer a smaller silhouette in my smartphone, however. Plus, I like the walled garden. It's lovely, expansive, and growing all the time. And stuff just works, almost always.

I'll probably be on the iPhone 5 like a duck on a junebug.
