I'm aware of that but I'm also aware a lot is left up to the discretion of the parish priest. I know a girl in Ontario, Canada that got knocked up by a black guy. Her father was an Irish Canadian immigrant and her mother was second generation Italian Canadian. The parish priest gave them a dispensation so she could terminate the pregnancy.
OK, I have never heard of it used for abortion, but would seem to be in line with with the forgiveness policy

But the occult compensation is for non payment or non performance of contracts and loans and would appear to apply only to the Vatican and those countries where the curch property is considered to be under their own law.
