not sure what to make of your observation. with the exception of Sprint's Epic 4G, the US variants of the Galaxy S all had only 2 quarters of decent sales, but ASP stayed pretty much constant sequentially during that time. If end user pricing was decreasing like you say, it's because carriers were eating the difference to move their bloated inventory. S3 sales have been holding up, but it's only been a month and a half (in the US). We'll probably see discounting once the iPhone 5 is released.
