And how is this working out for controlling cost for the rest of us? When a Catholic church hospital gives away their service for the poor - the result is that they up the cost of doing business to the rest of us. Being very charitable they give one heck of a lot of their services at reduced cost or no cost. Gosh, do you think these hospitals can run on no money - or charitable donations? Go to one of those hospitals and see what you pay for an MRI or CT scan!
