Bush took on Clinton's MCI Internet economy crash and 911 by lowering taxes which gave us record unemployment and record tax revenues. Then the media lied to us and gave us democrats in January 2007, been downhill ever since.

One of my strongest recollections of the Bush years is when America breathed a collective sigh of relief after 9/11 realizing that they had elected a professional rather than Al Gore. A great many democrats and even Gore admitted that President Bush 43 did a much better job of handling 911 than Gore was likely to have.
