No the above is exactly how it works. Is that how everyone here thinks. Anyone who does so needs a civics lesson.

What specifically about the startement is false? You cannot say something is false and then not say how!

If you don't think workers take their orders from the commissioner, and the commisioner takes them from the governor and legislature who are elected by the people, I can understand why you are so paranoid about govenrment.

You have no idea how a democracy works!

I worked half my life in government. If I didn't do what my bosses told me to do I would have been fired. And legislators use to question me all the time. They called me to the hill whenever they wanted.

What do you think government employee's do?

In fact democracy goes all the way down to when you can put your garbage out. People are ELECTED to borough assmbly's, school boards, and all sorts of committees to make those decisions for us. Those peoplel make decisions for the community. It is the only way a society can function and it is the foundation of democracy. We elect people from the ground up to represent society, to build roads, keep the water and food clean, provide sewers and septic systems, building codes and on and on and on. There is simply no other way to do it. That is what government is!!!!!

I can't help but think if Koan, Epicure, Sioux Pal and Dale Baker are against something it must not only be good it must be pursued. You could travel back in time to be instructed by Socrates and not learn a firmer fact for existence upon this earth. You could march across Asia with Alexander the Great and not be in better shape for knowing that if Koan says something it is complete crapola. You could gallop with the Mongol hordes across the Russian steppes into Ukraine drunk on fermented mares milk and be correct with the notion of Koan being a complete shit-head.
