What do you think it takes to succeed in business? Business is about negotiation and coalition building. It's about compromise and finding win-wins. It's about profit and fiscal sanity. It's all about relationships and trust. Romney succeeded big time in that arena.

As much as I defended Obama during his campaign, I simply don't think he has the kind of executive experience and track record of success that Romney has. I'm a business man myself and I respect that kind of success. I also take a very dim view of the Democrats ploy to try to turn "capitalism", "free markets", and "millionaires" into bad words. Those are the very things that have made this country great on a foundation of moral rectitude. I wish the Dems wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. Socialism and Communism have proven to be failed systems in every single case in modern history. Why would we want to move in those directions? It's time to stop that slide.

* And in 2016 news, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) really isn't being subtle: he scheduled some time at the Democratic convention to speak to delegates from Iowa.

And btw, just so you don't get totally bought off on this idea that I don't look at both sides of the coin and try to remain as unbiased as possible, check out the statistics that I keep track of below for myself. These are the RESULTS of each Presidency, in terms that most people can understand. Clinton has the best results, in my book, but Obama does well on the stock market. However, that may just be a reflection of the gigantic amount of monetary stimulus that the Bernanke money printer in chief has pushed into the system.
