Obama is misdirecting. Romney's plan does have tax rate cuts, but they are combined with tax deduction and credit elimination that overall will result in business friendly, simplification that can drive business and economic growth. In addition, Romney's plan leaves in place tax cuts for the Middle Class, which is getting hammered relentlessly now.

Now it is true that Romney's plan also benefits the wealthy and this I do not like. I believe we should not cut the top tax rates, but increase them. But I do like the eliminate of the mortgage deduction and other things like that, which Romney has proposed.

So what is Obama's plan? He wants to leave in place all the tax cuts for folks making less than $250K, but drive up the taxes for the wealthy. I'm ok with that.
