Savings has plummeted and credit has expanded, ridiculously so. These are the root causes of malaise in this country. So is the answer to have government step in with even more deficit spending and money printing? Well, it has resulted in the greatest drop in savings and increase in debt in history in this country. So it would be insanity to continue doing these things. Yes, ever since Reagan came into power with his trickled down crap, this country has been in trouble. I am sick to death of Republicans and their bs myths.
